Explore Arusha Shuttle Services – Our Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• “Booking”: Refers to your order for transportation services as communicated through our website, email, in person, or over the phone, and accepted by Explore Arusha Shuttle Services.

• “Booking Services”: Encompasses taxi booking services, car hire services, or Airport Transfer Services provided by Explore Arusha Shuttle Services to you.

• “Driver”: Denotes an individual driver providing transportation services to you; our drivers are local Tanzanian professionals with experience.

• “Driving Service”: Signifies the services rendered by the Driver in response to your Booking, which may include the transportation of individuals and/or couriering items.

• “Fare”: Represents the fee payable for the Driving Services.

• “Vehicle”: Pertains to the car driven by the Driver.

2. Basis of Agreement

You acknowledge and agree that:

• These Terms apply to all Bookings.
• Explore Arusha Shuttle Services acts as a booking agent responsible for the provision of Booking Services.
• The contract between you and us is limited to Booking Services, and your contract for the Driving Services is directly with the Driver.

3. Booking Service

Explore Arusha Shuttle Services will use reasonable care and skill when providing Booking Services. Estimated travel times are provided for guidance only, and you are responsible for allowing sufficient time for the journey, including delays.

Please order a suitable car size for the number of passengers and luggage, and specify if a passenger requires wheelchair accessibility. While we strive to accommodate vehicle and driver preferences, such requests cannot always be guaranteed.

4. Prices & Payments

Explore Arusha Shuttle Services is responsible for collecting the Fare, payable by you. Payments, including credit/debit card transactions, should be made before the trip commences.

Fixed Fares are based on information provided at the time of Booking. Any changes to drop-offs, pick-ups, routes, or additional waiting time may result in a revised Fare, to be agreed upon directly with the Driver.

5. Your Conduct

You are responsible for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Soiling fees may apply for any damage to the vehicle. Smoking is strictly prohibited.

6. Airport Bookings

For Airport transfers, provide flight details at Booking. The Driver enters the terminal 15 minutes before your flight arrival. Waiting charges apply if you are not present 120 minutes after the Driver’s entry.

7. Cancellations

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before pickup receive a full refund, minus transaction charges.
• Cancellations less than 12 hours before pickup receive no refund.
• Bookings made less than 2 hours before pickup are non-refundable.
• Changes or cancellations less than 2 hours before pickup are not possible.

8. Liability

Explore Arusha Shuttle Services will inform you of any delays due to events beyond our control. Our liability is limited to losses or damages resulting from Booking Services only. Complaints regarding Driving Services should be directed to us, and we will assist in resolving the issues with the Driver.

We do not exclude or limit liability where unlawful. This includes liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Your Personal Information

We use your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

10. Miscellaneous

Explore Arusha Shuttle Services may change these Terms by posting updates online. Review the Terms regularly. The Terms on our website at the time of your Booking apply to Booking Services.

This contract is between you and us. No other person has rights to enforce its terms. Each paragraph operates separately; if any are deemed unlawful, the remaining paragraphs remain in force.
